Support official Golang MongoDB Driver for Query/Aggregation code generation
It would be great--and a solid reason for me to upgrade my license--if Studio 3T fully supported the official Golang MongoDB driver for Query/Aggregation code generation. I'm currently struggling with translating a pipeline that works perfectly into working Golang code and it would be worth it if I could see what your IDE would do with it.

Provide AppleScript support for automation
I'd love to have the option to open Studio 3T and automatically connect to a given saved connection via AppleScript, so that I can use other productivity tools like Alfred or Siri to connect directly to a connection upon opening the app.

Allow persistent filtering for collections
While the collection search feature is helpful, I'm often trying to filter for collections or databases that match a string as I connect/disconnect from multiple connections. I'd like to have a persistent filter that I can set so that as I connect to new servers it will only show just those collections that match my filter. Then as I adjust the filter I'll see DBs/collection live-update in the sidebar.

Save result view (table,tree, json) based on the collection type
Right now it seems the view is stored per session or global, for me ideally it should be stored based on collection name also, because I have a collection that I always open in tree view, another that I open in json view and overall most that I open are in table view

Dark Mode query cursor
I enjoy using the dark mode theme by default, however my main issue is the colour of the cursor in the Query and other fields above a viewed collection. The cursor remains black while the text is white and is nearly impossible to see against the dark gray background.
This small tweak would save me a lot of time being able to more confidently use the keyboard to navigate text editing, versus using the mouse to do so.
Thanks a lot for your consideration!

Inline object preview
I have lots of collections with "dynamic" array elements. These typically are shown like that:
- items [20 elements]
- 0 { 3 fields }
- 1 { 3 fields }
- ...
- 19 { 3 fields }
In my opinion, the field number is usually not very helpful. It would boost productivity significantly if I would see the data directly, i.e.
- items [20 elements]
- 0 { id: 112, name: dummy 1, value: -0.3 }
- 1 { id: 709, name: Long dummy name, whi...
- ...
- 19 { id: 583, name: dummy x, value: 4 }
Overlong data can be cut off at the column…

Ability to add a description of a Collection under a Collection Properties tab
It would be nice to have a place to write some additional text to describe the contents of a collection. Like Microsoft lets you do when setting up some objects - under the properties tab.

Add option to snap connection tree to current tab
In some IDEs, there's an option to snap/scroll the left hand pane (files/projects etc) to the relevant item when you change tabs on the right hand side.
In the Studio3T context, this would mean:
- You change tabs (with the new setting / preference on)
- The connections pane highlights and scrolls to the collection / server for the newly selected tabThis would be useful, for example if you have multiple servers open, with multiple connections in each.

Allow just clicking an icon for changing between table, tree, and json view like Robo3t
The dropdown is two clicks vs a single icon click in Robo3t

Offline access to saved schema analysis results
It would be great if one could open saved schema analysis results while offline (not connected to database) or at least without opening a collection

Data masking with fake data
We often have the use case that developers need "real" data to test features, debug errors or use a development / staging system.
Currently we have lots of hand crafted tools and scripts which export data from the live system and mask sensitive or customer-related fields.
It would be nice if the data masking would support faking data and replace existing data with fake / random generated values especially for values that fall under GDPR:
- first names
- last names
- integer / float values (eg. income)
- dates (birthday)
- address dataThis way we could create a

Allow index hint in aggregate builder options
When creating an aggregate, only "Allow disk use" and "Use custom collation" are options. It would be very useful to allow other available options such as "hint". This would be incredibly useful in testing the efficacy of indexes.

Improve comparison tool to include Indexes
My use case is comparing two versions of a product and the differences between the collections and indexes as well as the documents that it created. This is why I decided to try the tool, but since it doesn't compare indexes it hasn't solved my problem.

Query Gridfs Custom-Metadata and Download a bunch of files
Problem: I need to download all files with a given metadata field (custom metadata field, not the default ones like Filename, md5 or contenType metadata fields).
Solution: Add an ability to use standard queries on Gridfs Views and the possibility to export the queryresult.

Require WRITTEN confirmation of Drop Collection
The command to drop a collection is (I think) way too easy to run without intending to. It makes such a fundamental change to data, that I would prefer to see a requirement, similar to that of AWS S3 when deleting bucket contents, or typing in a confirmation such as “drop [collection name]”. At the moment it is too easy (with a hotkey return) to permanently delete data. Also, I find new users of MongoDB are easily confused by the similar-sounding “Drop” and “Disconnect”, so this requirement would help protect against accidental deletion.

Expandable tab groups
It will be nice having the ability to group tabs together like in Google Chrome. This kind of feature increases comfort and productivity.

Reconnect on startup in the background and in parallel
With multiple remote servers and several saved IntelliShell sessions, it can take a while to reconnect everything on startup. While this is happening, the UI is blocked.

Add Google Big Query support for "SQL Import"
It would be really handy to be able to import tables from BQ directly rather than having to export JSON/CSV, waste disk space and basically double the work needed.
