Automatic updates not working in new versions nor on "update now", neither on "update on next studio 3T start", and neither on "self update from help context menu" - none updated setup file was downloaded elsewhere

Planned for nearly two years and with 400 votes and this has still not been implemented. I have let multiple licences lapse until this is fixed.
