    Specifically, I would like the font-choice that is specified for editing in Studio 3T preferences, to be used for the five default find-fields (Query, Projection, Sort, Skip, Limit).

    At the moment, the use (at least on OS X) of a variable-width font means that some characters are difficult to select – especially thin characters like single-quote-marks. Also, the difference between parentheses and braces is less clear.

    (I do NOT think the font needs to be bold, as suggested by the OP.)
