Remember Query Builder Size
Currently, the Visual Query Builder takes up ~40% of the screen until it is resized. Once resized, if a new collection is opened, the visual query builder for that tab is also the default size.
It would be great to have 3T remember the last size used.3 votesAs of 2021.3, this was improved.

Include $merge stage in aggregation pipeline screen
Current release does not have the $merge stage in pipeline combobox.
It would be nice to have it and a mock-up set, like in $lookup
3 votesHi Davi, we’ve included $merge and other aggregation stages introduced with MongoDB 4.2 in Studio 3T 2020.6 (https://studio3t.com/whats-new/release-2020-6/).

Query time in Intellishell results
It would be really nice to have the execution time in the results of the instellishell query.
Seems so basic that I am really surprised it's not there.3 votesThis has been available since 2021.3

Export/Copy as standard JSON
Hello,
I often find myself copy/pasting document from mongo json and need them in raw/standar json without any format qualifiers such as NumberInt() and ObjectId(), etc.
I can't find a way to do this at the moment even with the latest version of studio 3t, so I end up wasting time in notepad++ with custom regexes to remove these qualifiers.
It would be nice to have a "copy/export as standard json" open.
Thanks

[Bug] Memory Leak
If left open, MongoChef (specifically, the javaw.exe) will begin to consume but not release memory, eventually using over 1GB of memory in just a couple of days. The user must close and reopen the app to release the memory. Obviously, this is less than ideal.
This has been an issue since v3 at least. I'm on v4.3.0, and it is still not fixed, and in looking at the change log for v4.4, it does not look like it was addresses there, either.

fix app being ugly and slow UI
UI elements are slow to respond (animation when opening a tree for example) and the UI in general is horrendous. Excellent functionality however...
3 votesHi Jordan, we’ve not experienced this issue of slowness of animations.

Fix the query input text boxes
When I run a long complex query with a long projection block, the query text block grows vertically while the projection block grows horizontally. As a result, the Sort text box shrinks down to zero width.
Note, the behavior is different if you load a historical query, or type in a new long query.

Improve File Search for GridFs
Sometimes I have to look up a certain file in Gridfs (fs.files) where I only have the ID. Entering the ID in file search does not seem to work. I can only see results searched for 'Name'.
Strangely I see other search results where nothing seems to match the File Search pattern.
(Can show a screen shot to see what I mean)

Data compare
When I run a comparison between two different collections, I notice that 3T tool uses ObjectID as a primary key to compare JSON data. ObjectID is a unique ID generated and controlled by MongoDB and it will always differ for collections, so I am unable to extract results as desired. Is there a way I can specify to compare based on a User defined ID field which is unique for documents( We have ProductID which is unique for each doc)
Ability to compare two different collections by specifying User defined Unique ID field rather than depending on Object…
3 votesAs of Data Compare & Sync 2.0 you can now choose arbitrary match fields and compare fields.
