I have a bug
When executing many commands ( > 500) in one IntelliShell, the 3T shutdowns.
Only when I'm closing the tabs as they run is the IDE open

Field renaming
I think we should be able to rename fields on collections.

Color Coding Connection by server type
Ability to assign color to differentiate connected servers
for querying and shell commands.

Better comparison of double values
When comparing collections and some of the fields being compared are of type Double it would be very useful if it allowed a small degree of difference between the two double values instead of looking for an absolute match.
One field can be 159.999999999999999999 and the other field can be 160.000000000000000001 and both fields will show as not matching however the same calculation can give both values as the result. If we allow for some rounding it would be very helpful in avoiding false positives with matching doubles.

[BUG] Unable to type accented characters in the query box
Accented characters that are entered as a sequence of keystrokes (e.g. ´ + a => á) don't appear correctly in the collection query box. Instead I get "´a".
This problem doesn't occur in the Intellishell, only the text boxes for the collection.

Handle $replaceRoot aggegration stage
When connected to a mongo 3.4+ server, with Studio 3T 5.3.0, the $replaceRoot aggregation is not proposed in the dropdown even though it's supported and works when executed.

[Bug] In Table View, type icons overlap with values
The overlap between the type icons and the field values happens exactly in those columns for which the uppermost field has no value specified. I am running Studio 3T 5.3.4 on Ubuntu 14.04.

Seems that this page only works in Chrome; that's just as irritating as when everybody made websites that only worked in IE6.
The real suggestion was for self-updating but it seems you're onto that already

Filter Collections by name
We have databases with many collections and some are grouped by the same suffix. Often it would be very helpful to have a simple search box to filter the collections on the left by name.

[Bug] Memory Leak
If left open, MongoChef (specifically, the javaw.exe) will begin to consume but not release memory, eventually using over 1GB of memory in just a couple of days. The user must close and reopen the app to release the memory. Obviously, this is less than ideal.
This has been an issue since v3 at least. I'm on v4.3.0, and it is still not fixed, and in looking at the change log for v4.4, it does not look like it was addresses there, either.

Add a Grid View for viewing complex documents
Something like Oxygen XML or XMLSpy editors Grid View for JSON/XML files. It's very handy when dealing with complex documents that have several levels of nested Arrays or embedded documents.
Currently in MongoChef if you are in a collection root level with table view and "dive in" a nested element you lose the original context so if you want to look into another document's nested element you have to go back one level up and then lose the first bit of data you were looking at...You can use the tree view but the data is laid out vertically so…

Allow you to choose from a list of existing keys for Query, Projection, and Sort in QueryBuilder
When you use a key (or set of keys) in the projection section of querybuilder you have no ability to choose any additional keys to use for the Query, Projectection, or Sort sections. You have to either remember the column name and type it in directly or open a new view of the same collection to get the name.
What would be awesome is if in the area "Drag field here or double-click to add field" you could get a drop-down list of keys to choose from. Or open up a pop-up list of fields like you get when you…

[Bug] Copy/paste of documents hangs
Reproduction steps:
- Go into a colleciton
- Select a document
- ctrl+c
- ctrl+v
- The paste job keeps being in progress, until you close the tab and re-open it again. The document will now be pasted.4 votesFixed with update!
